Gloria was born and raised in a rural Eastern North Carolina family. At times, Gloria grew up surrounded by four generations or over ten people; all living together in their three-bedroom home. Gloria's fondest memories are of her time investing in children. Her passion for supporting the youth started with her homeschool teaching and helping care for nieces and nephews. Gloria also served in various children's ministries within her church, including teaching Sunday school and leading the children’s choir. A Shaw University grad devoted to lifelong strides to excellence by remaining engaged in continuous learning opportunities. Gloria holds a plethora of professional experience, including 30 years of federal government service. Gloria is also a co-author in two handbooks published by The Professional Woman Network of Louisville, Kentucky, a published singer/songwriter and worship leader. Gloria currently resides in the Atlanta, Georgia Metro area with her husband. They are blessed to have their beloved children and grandchildren.
